The Act of 26 October 1982 on Upbringing in Sobriety and Counteracting Alcoholism

(Journal of Laws 1982 No. 35, item 230, as amended)
– the primary legal act regulating the rules for the sale and serving of alcohol, including the legal purchasing age (18), conditions for retail sales, and restrictions concerning places and hours of sale.
The Act of 2 July 2004 on Freedom of Economic Activity

The Act of 16 April 1993 on Combating Unfair Competition
– regulates issues related to misleading advertising, prohibits unfair marketing practices, and bans promotions that are contrary to the law or good business practices.
